ARUN JAITLEY NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT The Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) which set up in 1993 by the Government of India is a centre of excellence specialising in in the fields of public policy, financial management and other governance issues. The emblem of the society in red and grey has a pictorial and a motto. It has five squares taken from arranged diagonally forming a symmetrical structure like a human with a round head in red colour. The bottom three squares are fully grey and the top two are grey in half of its area. Its motto in Sanskrit is taken from Kautiya’s Arthashastra (15.1.1) ‘मनुष्यवती भूमीरर्थः’ meaning ‘The Land Where the Man Lives’ is placed below the pictorial (As the source of the livelihood is the wealth for people, human resources are the real wealth of a nation.
