BIHAR TOURISM The Bihar Tourism which is the brand name of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) has a peepal tree and lotus as its pictorial motifs in green colour supported by its name and tagline ‘Blissful Bihar’. The peepal tree is in the state emblem of Bihar and it represents the spiritual connect with the State, the lotus is considered by the people of Bihar, especially Hindus Jains and Buddhists and both these elements represent the Bihar’s spiritual and religious tourist places and destinations, which are innumerable. BIHAR STATE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) has the lion motif on a pillar of Sarnath of Ashoka period placed above the map of Bihar as its emblem. This pictorial conveys the historical significance and cultural heritage of the State in gold and brown tones. The acronym of its name is written below the pictorial. The emblem is impressive and meaningful.
