ASSOCIATION OF HIMALAYAN YOGA MEDITATION SOCIETIES INTERNATIONAL The blue colour insignia Association of Himalayan Yoga Meditation Societies International (AHYMSIN) has a pair of swans facing each other supported by a lotus. A woman with closed eyes crested by a glowing flame is placed above the swans. All these are ensconced by a cobra or serpent. Below the motifs its tagline in Sanskrit ‘योगः समाधिः’ and ‘Yoga is Samadhi’ are written. The lotus refers to beauty, prosperity, fertility, eternity and spirituality; the swans are considered sacred and are symbols of grace and beauty; the flame denotes enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power and the serpent denotes healthcare, protection and wellbeing.
