INSTITUTE OF NANO SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The emblem of Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) has a rising sun housing the motifs of a pair of green leaves and a nano element in brown colour  placed on a green oval. Its initials are written on green and blue hexagons denoting chemical and biological sciences supporting the motifs. Its name surmounts the motif in Devanagari and supports it in English. The rising Sun denotes light, universal prosperity and path for growth and the leaves refer to nature and biological sciences.
