BHAGWANT GLOBAL UNIVERSITY Bhagwant Global University (BGU) is a Private University located in Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. The university is managed by the Bhagwant Education Foundation which was established by an Act of Government of Rajasthan. The blue colour emblem of the university has a gear wheel with four spokes, with the counters of the spokes holding motifs of a computer, an open book, a satellite and an antenna. The circular inner border of the gear wheel bears the name and place of the university. The gear wheel is supported by a pair of laurels. Below all these on a banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ (Mantra 14, Valli 3, Chapter 1, Kathopanishad) meaning ‘Arise, Awake and Stop Not till the Goal is Reached’ is inscribed. BIRLA GLOBAL UNIVERSITY Birla Global University (BGU) is a self-financed private unitary university established by the Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015 in Bhubaneswar. The university is managed by Birla Academy of Art & Culture. The insignia of the university has a motif of the Wheel of Konark in orange surrounded by five human-like figures in light green and blue symbolising the cultural heritage of Odisha and its stakeholders. At its right the acronym and name of the university is written in sans serif blue and orange colours. The wheel symbolises moving in general and the continuity of changes and the Wheel of Konark denotes life and times. The orange colour symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
