INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION Headquartered in Bengaluru, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Government of India whose vision is to ‘harness space technology for national development while pursuing space science research and planetary exploration. Earlier, ISRO was known as the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), which was formed under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) in 1962. The ISRO logo shows the initials given in both Hindi (Devanagari script) and English forms and a rocket-like symbol with wings can be seen launching upwards through them.

INDIAN NATIONAL SPACE PROMOTION AND AUTHORISATION CENTRE To facilitate private sector participation, the government has created the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe), as a single-window, independent, nodal agency which functions as an autonomous agency in Department of Space (DOS). Established as a single window agency for all space sector activities of private entities, IN-SPACe plays an important role in boosting the private space sector economy in India. IN-SPACe, is responsible to promote, enable authorize and supervise various space activities of the NGEs that include, among others, the building of launch vehicles and satellites and providing space-based services; sharing of space infrastructure and premises under the control of DOS or ISRO and establishment of new space infrastructure and facilities. NEWSPACE INDIA LIMITED

NEWSPACE INDIA LIMITED The NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) has been incorporated in March 6, 2019 as a wholly owned Government of India company, under the control of Department of Space (DoS). NSIL has an authorized share capital of INR 100 crore and paid up capital of INR 10 crore. This is the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Its logo has its acronym ‘NSIL’ written in sans serif text wherein ‘I’ is shown as a rocket taking off and below this is the acronym in Hindi written in light blue colour. This is ensconced by an elliptical circle in orange depicting the path of a satellite. This also holds a satellite in orbit.
