ICAR-INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SOIL SCIENCES The circular seal of ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil Sciences (IISS) has motifs of earth with worms, insects, ground water, stone layer, a laboratory flask, a borewell, a plant with roots and three leaves, sky with clouds and its motto in Sanskrit ‘मृदा ददाति पोषणं माता सा सर्वेषाम्’  meaning ‘The Soil Gives Nourishment, She is the Mother of All’. All these motifs represent the soil and its constituents, which give it its character and properties. These also duly denote the scope and domain of research work carried out by the Institute. These motifs are held in a circle with black outline, which is ensconced in a white border with black outline, on which its name and year of inception are inscribed.

INDIA INTERNATIONAL SEAFOOD SHOW India International Seafood Show (IISS) is one of the largest seafood fairs in Asia. IISS as a biennial event offers a sea of opportunities for exporters and importers of Indian marine products. The trade show provides an umbrella for various stakeholders of this sector such as producers, processors, processing machinery manufacturers, linkage sectors, technical experts etc., to assemble under the same roof, build up trade relations. The predominantly blue logo has a pair of identical cyan and blue shells with yellow details supported by the name of the exhibition in the colours of water. It is supported by two swooshes of dark blue and cyan at the bottom meaning river and sea waters.
