JSS ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION & RESEARCH JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. The chancellor of the Academy is His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. The emblem of the academy has a monogram incorporating JSS group’s insignia in orange and blue. At its right its name is written in five lines. At the bottom the status of the university and place are written in grey. The colour orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
