SULA VINEYARDS LIMITED
SULA VINEYARDS LIMITED Rajeev Samant's introduction to wines took place during his early years studying at Stanford University and working at Oracle in California. A chance visit to his family's land in Nashik - a region well-known for growing table grapes - in 1994 led to the seed of an idea. In 1996 Rajeev established Sula Vineyards. The name ‘Sula’ came from his mother's name - ‘Sulabha’ - and symbolised the rich, Indian heritage of his wines. Its logo has a bright smiling and shining caricatured ‘Indian’ sun in yellow colour supported by its name in the typeface having even thickness of strokes and fine serifs. This aptly represents finesse and strength of the product it represents.
