SIKKIM INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY The insignia of the Sikkim International University (SIU) has a circle holding the motifs of Himalayas with flowing rivers; an open book and a traditional lamp. These are ensconced by a circular border with its name and place inscribed. This is further circumscribed by a traditional running design motif of the State. The mountains and the river represent the geography of the university; the open book denotes knowledge, education and wisdom and the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

SANGAI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY Sangai International University (SIU), Manipur has been established in Manipur by Sangai International University Manipur Act, 2014 of State Legislature under self finance mode. The emblem of the university has its monogram of its acronym depicted as flame in gold and supported by an open book on a blue circular background and red and white wavy outline. The name of the university surmounts the circle. Its motto ‘Committed to Excellence’ is written on a blue banner placed below the circle. The open book symbolises knowledge, education and wisdom; the flame denotes enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour gold symbolises wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
