ALL INDIA ANNA DRAVIDA MUNNETRA KAZHAGAM AIADMK was founded by Puratchi Thalaivar, Ponmanachemmal M.G. Ramachandran who was fondly referred to by the people of Tamilnadu as MGR on October 17, 1972.
