KOTTAYAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (KITS) The logo of Kottayam Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) features a stylised ‘K’ created with a combination of solid and dotted lines in deep red supported by its acronym ‘kits’. The name of the college is written on the right. The letter ‘K’ denotes progress, forward movement, innovation, technology, ideas, knowledge and collaboration; and the deep red colour signifies passion, energy, knowledge and growth.

KRISHNA CHAITANYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCES (KITS) The green and blue circular emblem of The Krishna Chaitanya Institute of Technology & Sciences (KITS) features a motif of gopuram of Markapur Chennakesava Swamy Temple supported by its initials ensconced by a blue circular border, inscribed with its name and further circumscribed by a green gearwheel. An open book supports the seal and a green banner placed at the bottom inscribed with its motto. The temple represents divine grace, benevolence and blessings; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

KARUNYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS), was founded by Dr. D. G. S. Dhinakaran and the present Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran in 1986 as an engineering colleg. It was granted autonomous status in 1999 and declared Deemed to be University on June 23, 2004. The emblem of the university has a silhouette profile of a human face with a gear wheel place on the head and a hand holding a yellow ochre torch with an orange flame. Below the hand and on the left of the torch its motto ‘Arise and Shine’ is written Its name is written in red. The human face indicates that the well being of humanity is central to our entire endeavours and that we shall never forget them in the midst of our equations and diagrams. The gear wheel is treated as the human eye, in appreciation of the importance of technology in today’s world.
