THE INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYSTS OF INDIA UNIVERSITY JHARKHAND The ICFAI University, Jharkhand was established under subsection (2) of Section 4 of The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India Act , 2006 (Jharkhand Act 08, 2007). The university is recognised by UGC under section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 and is empowered by UGC to award degrees under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. The logo of the university has the acronym of its name written in capital slab serif font in blue colour, supported by a red banner on which ‘University’ is written. Below this ‘Jharkhand’ is written in black. Its motto ‘Grooming Professionals. With Values’ is written in blue and red. The colour red represents passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity.
