INDIAN INSTITUTE OF GEOMAGNETISM The white circular seal of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG) has blue outlines housing the motifs of sun, a leaf, a pair of swooshes denoting magnetism and its initials within a circle with thick outline. These are ensconced by a border inscribed with its name in Devanagari and English. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity and the leaf represents nature.
