NOIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY The emblem of Noida International University (NIU) is a green shield with a yellow outline, gold banner and a pair of golden laurels. The shield houses shining sun above water, a banner with its motto ‘Courage, Integrity, Honour’ written on and its acronym ‘NIU’. The shield is supported by a pair of laurels at the bottom. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the rising sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flowing water denotes life, motion and fertility; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.
