Sage University
SAGE UNIVERSITY Sage University (SU) has been established by an Act of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. The crest of the university is a red and gold shield, which has a motif of flame of fire supported by the acronym of its name and place. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ has been adopted from Shrimad Bhagwat Gita (Chapter 2. Verse 50), meaning ‘Yoga is Excellence at Work’ is inscribed on a golden banner, which is placed on the bottom portion of the shield. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the flame of fire represents life and energy; the stars symbolise perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; the colour red means passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour gold denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
