FOOD INDUSTRY CAPACITY AND SKILL INITIATIVE Food Industry Capacity and Skill Initiative (FICSI), widely known as Food Processing Sector Skill Council is a Not-for-Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and working under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The organisation is promoted by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with financial support by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). FICSI has been granted the status of Awarding Body by NCVET. Its multicolour logo has a pictorial eight persons arranged in a circle as a food pallet representing trainees acquiring different skill sets of the food industry. Alongside, its acronym is written in regular sans serif text with rounded ends in four different colours. The name of the institution is written below.

FEDERATION OF INDIAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY A non-government, not-for-profit organisation, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) acts as an association of business organisations in India. Having memberships from the corporate sector (both private and public), FICCI was established by Shri GD Birla and Shri Purushottam Das Thakurdas in 1927, on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi. It is engaged in sector-specific business building, promotion and networking and is the largest, oldest and the apex business organisation in the country. The FICCI logo is an acronym of the full name of the organisation. The letters are surrounded by four different colours, out of which two colours represent the India flag.
