INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED Owned by the Government of India, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is an oil and gas company headquartered in New Delhi and accounts for nearly half of India’s petroleum products. It also owns and operates 11 of India’s twenty-three refineries, with a combined refining capacity of 80.7 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA). The Indian Oil logo has a saffron coloured circle, enclosed by a white coloured and a dark blue coloured outer ring. The middle part has a dark blue coloured strip that mentions the name Indian Oil in Devanagari script. The saffron circle represents energy as a derivative of the sun, connoting life and the future. The dark blue outer ring and the horizontal strip inside symbolise technology for harnessing this energy.”
