PANDIT DEENDAYAL UPADHYAYA SHEKHAWATI UNIVERSITY The emblem of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Shekhawati University (PDUSU) is shaped like a sun with glowing rays with a circular border housing the name and place of the university in Devanagari and English and its year of establishment. WIthin this border a torch with flame supported by an open book is placed on the map of the State of Rajasthan. Below the seal, on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘प्रज्वलितो ज्ञानमय प्रदीपः’ (Shloka 1, Shri Badarayan Suprabhatam) meaning ‘Burning like a well-filled Oil Lamp Enlightened with the Light of Knowledge’ is inscribed.
