BANGIYA GRAMIN VIKASH BANK Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) was formed, as corresponding new RRB on February 21, 2007, consequent upon amalgamation of Mallabhum Gramin Bank, Gaur Gramin Bank, Murshidabad Gramin Bank, Nadia Gramin Bank and Sagar Gramin Bank in West Bengal. The green and yellow circular emblem of the bank has a traditional house placed in front of a gear wheel and a glowing sun, with a pair of stalks of paddy with crowns placed in front. These are ensconced in a green circular border which carries the name of the bank in Bengali and English. The emblem has a white and green border line.  The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture and village. Sun symbolises light, strength, power and life energy and positive energy.
