SHRI VENKATESHWARA UNIVERSITY Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU) is a State Private University enacted by Act No-26 of 2010 of State Legislature of Government of Uttar Pradesh and notified u/s 2(f), UGC Act 1956 of University Grants Commission, Government of India. The emblem of the university red berry (maroon red) toned circular seal with a yellow torch in the centre circumscribed by its name and motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् कर्ममू वृतम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Covered by Action’ and ensconced by a decorative border. The torch symbolises enlightenment and hope. The red berry or maroon red colour signifies  force, depth, and passion. In Buddhism it is used to evoke sentiments of spirituality and wisdom.

SWAMI VIVEKANAND UNIVERSITY Swami Vivekanand University (SVU) was established by an Act of Madhya Pradesh State Legislature and notified in its official Gazette as The Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya (Staphana Avam Sanchalan) Tritiya Sansodhan Adhiniyam (Act No.44 of 2011- 31 December 2011). Its insignia in yellow and dark red is in the form of a shield that has a portrait of Swami Vivekanand placed on a globe with a double pointed blue arrow going around. This motif is placed in a yellow circle bordered with red stars. The name of the university is written around the circle and at the bottom of the shield its place ‘Sagar’ is written. On a dark red and gold banner across the shield, its motto in Sanskrit ‘आत्मनो मोक्षार्थ जगद्विताय चः’ meaning ‘For the Liberation Self and Both Worlds’ is written. SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY Sri Venkateswara University was established in 1954, in Tirupati to cater to the educational needs and aspirations of people of the Rayalaseema Region of Andhra Pradesh and has completed sixty eight years of service. he emblem of the university has a shield with an image of Seven Hills representing the seven hills of Tirumala; a white lotus signifying purity and enlightenment; a pair of seahorses symbolises generosity, friendliness, positivity, anchorage, contentment, patience and persistence and crested by the Sudarshan Chakra symbolising the disc of Lord Maha Vishnu. Below the shield on a white banner the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं सम्यगवेक्षनम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Proper Observation’ is written.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA UNIVERSITY Swami Vivekananda University is a private university established in 2019 by Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions (RERF), in Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. The university is established through Act No. XV of 2019 of the State of West Bengal on December 5, 2019. The grey colour circular emblem of the university has the portrait of Swami Vivekananda supported by an open book and its acronym in  a shield and on both sides of the shield laurels are placed. All these are ensconced in a grey circular border which carries its name. An open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom; Shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; laurels symbolise victory, accomplishment, honour, recognition, immortality, peace and harmony and the colour grey neutrality, practicality, efficiency, maturity, wisdom, sophistication, stability, reliability and modernity.
