SRI SAI UNIVERSITY The red coloured square shaped seal of Sri Sai University (SSU) has a burning torch with a motif of human head atop. It is supported by its acronym and place. The flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power and the human head denotes success and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

SIKKIM SKILL UNIVERSITY The dark blue and yellowish circular emblem of the Sikkim Skill University (SSU) holds a motif of Himalayas with rising sun and flying birds in a circle. These are ensconced by a dark blue border on which the name of the university is inscribed. The mountains represent the geography of the locale, the rising sun denotes life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flying birds symbolise good fortune and that one’s hard work is paying off. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

SEACOM SKILLS UNIVERSITY Seacom Skills University is established under West Bengal Government’s policy (Vide Official Gazette Notification No. : 142-Edn (U) dated 31/01/2013), in line with the provisions under section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, as has been passed as Seacom Skills University Act, 2014 by the West Bengal Legislative Assembly (West Bengal Act VI of 2014). The emblem of the university has a helm of a ship placed above an anchor of a ship four directions marked as N,E,S and W and ensconced in a golden circular border designed as a compass with four directional arrows. The emblem is inspired by the principle of navigating a ship using the compass, helm and the anchor to manage and run a university to reach the desired destination safely. At its right the name of the university is written using blue colour serif font in three lines and its motto ‘Expanding the Boundaries of Knowledge’ is written at the bottom. SRI SRI UNIVERSITY Sri Sri University (SSU) was established on December 26, 2009 and started functioning from 2012. The university was envisioned by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Art of Living Programme is an integral part of the curriculum at the university. The circular seal of the university in brown colour houses a golden colour tree with trunks, branches and birds, which is ensconced by a white border. The top half of the border its name is inscribed and its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत्यं ज्ञानं अनन्थम् ब्रह्म’ meaning ‘True Knowledge is the Infinite Brahman’ is written in the bottom half. These two are separated by a pair of flying birds. The tree symbolises strength, individuality and expression, calmness, growth and the interconnectedness of everything; birds denote freedom of thought, imagination and greater vision; the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition and the colour gold symbolis...
