MANGALORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & ENGINEERING Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) was established in the year 2007. It has an interesting emblem in orange and blue colours. A hexagonal box simulating a cell of a beehive, from which a butterfly breaks through, means that the young minds after their education in this institute shall emerge out as colourful and vibrant butterflies benefitting the open world. This is topped by its acronym and its tagline ‘Invent Solutions’ is placed at the bottom.
