METROPOLITAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT (MITM) The golden emblem of Metropolitan Institute of Technology & Management (MITM) features a tower superimposed by a ribbon and supported by a star. This assemblage is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the Institute. The tower or castle is a fortified structure, symbolising safety, defense, and the ability to withstand challenges. A tower's height makes it ideal for observation, giving it a symbolic association with vigilance and guardianship . The golden ribbon denotes victory and shows support for affinity groups ; and the 5-pointed star or pentagram symbolises health, protection, and perfection.

MAHARAJA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY MYSORE The orange, green and blue circular emblem of Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore (MITM) has a monogram of ‘MIT’ with the ‘I’ written as a human with green head and ‘Mysore’ written below. These are ensconced by a blue circular border on which its name and place are inscribed in white. The colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness; the colour green denotes nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
