MUMBAI CITY FOOTBALL CLUB Mumbai City Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, that competes in the Indian Super League. The club was founded in August 2014, during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League (ISL). Mumbai City is the first club to win both the ISL title and League Winners Shield in the 2020–21 season. The crest of Mumbai City FC has a shield with a fort and suburban local train coach and seven stars in blue and orange outline. The fort represents the forts of erstwhile Maratha kingdoms symbolising valour and the train coach represents the common man of Mumbai, who the team represents. The three lines at the bottom represents the Arabian Sea of Mumbai.

Formed in 2013 with a mission to contribute to putting India on the footballing world map, Bengaluru Football Club is owned by the JSW Group and plays its home games out of the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. After a successful debut season in which the team claimed a historic championship, the club moved out of the Bangalore Football Stadium to play at the 24,000 capacity Kanteerava Stadium. Bengaluru FC represented India in Asian competition, first in the playoff round of the AFC Champions League and then in the AFC Cup. Its emblem is a shield crested by three yellow stars. The upper half of the shield has a banner in blue colour that has ‘Bengaluru’ written on it and it provides a silhouette of Bangalore Fort. INDIAN SUPER LEAGUE The Indian Super League (ISL) is India’s unrivalled football championship which kicked off on October 12, 2014. The inaugural winners of the league were ATK FC, while Chennaiyin FC were the winners of the second season.
