GUJARAT GIANTS (WPL) In October 2022, the BCCI announced its intentions to hold a five-team women's franchise cricket tournament in March 2023. The tournament was named the Women's Premier League in January 2023, with investors buying the rights to franchises through a closed bidding process during the same month. Adani Group, the owners of the Gujarat Giants kabaddi team, bought the rights to one of the franchises. On January 30, 2023, Mithali Raj joined Gujarat Giants as a mentor. In February 2023, Rachael Haynes was announced as head coach of the side. The inaugural player auction for the WPL was held on February 13, 2023, with Gujarat Giants signing 18 players for their squad. Its crest has a roaring lioness with the name of the team written in shades of orange in square sans serif italic text with round corners.

GUJARAT GIANTS Gujarat Giants owned by Adani Sportsline, is an Ahmedabad based kabaddi team participating in the Pro Kabaddi League. Entering the fray in 2017, the team known for its slogan of Garjega Gujarat roared its way to the finals for two consecutive years. Adani Sportsline believes in nurturing homegrown sports at the grassroots level in line with its philosophy of nation building. The logo of Gujarat Giant has an illustration of a muscular man. This is the tilak on the forehead of the mascot. Also he wears red dhoti. This muscular man exemplifies Gujarat Giants' core values of power, strength and vigour, much needed in the game of Kabaddi. The logo also captures the action and emotion of an energetic and fierce man. ‘Ghan Ghan Ghan Ghaat, Garjega Gujarat’ is the current anthem. It was sung by Sukhvinder Singh and Gujarati folk singer Kirtidan Gadhvi, composed by musical duo Salim-Sulaiman.

PRO KABDDI LEAGUE Pro Kabaddi is a ground-breaking initiative by Mashal Sports Pvt. Ltd and Disney Star.
