UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND ENERGY STUDIES
UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND ENERGY STUDIES University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. The logo of the university consists of a monogram of its acronym ‘UPE’ in the tones of yellow, pink and cyan and a word mark of its acronym, in black using experimental typography in black. The logo is trendy, colourful and to an extent abstract. The multiple colours and tones denote the diversity and the range of the stakeholders.
