SAURASHTRA GRAMIN BANK Saurashtra Gramin Bank (SGB) is a Regional Rural Bank, established under RRB Act, 1976 with the amalgamation of JRGB, JAGB and SBGB. The Saurashtra Gramin Bank is jointly owned by the Government of India, Government of Gujarat and State Bank of India. The emblem of the SGB has a blue circular border in blue colour written with the name of the bank in Devanagari and supported by a pair of yellow colour laurels holds the motifs of a lion, map of the State of Gujarat, highlighted the Saurashtra portion of the map, its acronym, its tagline ‘Safety-Security-Growth' and a silhouette of an factory. SAPTAGIRI GRAMEENA BANK Saptagiri Grameena Bank (SGB) has been formed with the merger of Sri Venkateswara Grameena Bank, Chittoor, Chittoor district and Kanakadurga Grameena Bank, Gudivada, Krishna District with effect from from July 1, 2006 with head office at Chittoor. The circular dark blue emblem of the bank has a motif of one Rupee coin above a pair of crossed golden bars forming four quadrants in a circle. These quadrants have motifs of a milch cow; tobacco and sugarcane plant; a tractor and a gear on micro scale industry. These are ensconced in a circular border which carries its name and its slogan ‘Striving for Rural Prosperity’ The coin denotes money, wealth and banking; cow denotes cattle farming and dairy farming; tobacco and sugarcane denote commercial farming; tractor denotes mechanisation of agriculture and the gear and structure represents the micro, small and medium industries.
