MAHARASHTRA STATE CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD (MSC BANK) The blue colour emblem of Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd (MSC Bank) has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using a pair of bullocks and plough with rising sun atop and surmounted by its motto in Sanskrit ‘सत् फलाय् सहकारिता’ meaning ‘Public Benefit Through Cooperation’ ensconced by a gear wheel. At the bottom of the gear wheel, in a circle, a motif of handshake is placed and a pair of crests of cereal support the emblem. The farmer refers to agriculture and agricultural banking and finance; the sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the gear wheel refers to industry and industrial banking and finance; the handshake refers to cooperation, agreement, togetherness, support and strength and the cereal refers to food, prosperity and security.

The farmer refers to agriculture and its financing; the ear wheel refers to industry and its financing; the sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the hands shaking refers to cooperation, support and togetherness and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
