INDIAN INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PUNE Indian Institute of Information Technology Pune (IIIT-Pune) is an institute of national importance established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India and Industry partners on a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) basis. Its emblem in the form of a medieval shield has been divided into five parts with the centre having its acronym depicted as three persons sitting in front in a class facing a board or computer supported by two pairs of stars and other parts have a book, a satellite, an atomic structure and a computer emitting binary. The shield has red and grey borders and its name is written in a circular form around the shield. Its motto ‘Leading Technology Leveraging Technology’ is written on a blue banner at the bottom.
