KERALA GRAMIN BANK Kerala Gramin Bank (KGB) is a Regional Rural Bank (RRB) formed on July 8, 2013. The bank was formed by amalgamating the two RRBs of Kerala namely South Malabar Gramin Bank and North Malabar Gramin Bank through a notification by the government of India. The emblem of the KGB is a motif created using its acronym ‘KGB’ in yellow, blue and orange to resemble an abstract lamp with a flame in a virtual square box. The flame is in orange colour; the two angular strokes of ‘K’ are formed in orange and blue; ‘G’ is formed with yellow and blue; and ‘b’ is formed in blue. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, peace, tranquillity, calmness, trust, stability and reliability and it is used to convey a sense of professionalism and dependability. The colour yellow denotes happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and orange symbolises energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness. KARNATAKA GRAMIN BANK Karnataka Gramin Bank (KGB) with its head office at Ballari under the sponsorship of Canara Bank came to existence on April 1, 2019 with amalgamation of two RRBs namely Pragathi Krishna Gramin Bank and Kaveri Grameena Bank. The logo of this bank is in the form of a circle and its components - Leaves represent agriculture and signifies prosperity; Diverging leaves signify our expanding base and growing support to agriculture and clean environment; The circle formed signifies the wholeness and inclusive growth; Blue colour represents trust, loyalty, integrity and responsibility and Yellow colour represents optimism, success, confidence, youthfulness and fresh energy. Its motto is ‘Vishwasada Pratheeka' meaning ‘Symbol for the Trust’.
