PIMPRI CHINCHWAD MUNICIPAL CORPORATION The circular seal of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has the picture of King Bhoj riding a galloping horse with the motifs of Khandoba temple and a factory in the background. These are ensconced by a gear wheel and supported by a banner on which its motto in Sanskrit ‘कटिबध्दा जनहिताय’ meaning ‘Committed to the Public Good’ is inscribed. Its name and year of inception are surmounting the gear wheel. The gear wheel denotes efficiency, precision, interconnectedness, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
