MAHARANI CLUSTER UNIVERSITY The blue, gold and green circular seal of Maharani Cluster University (MCU) has the motif of Gandaberunda adapted from the state emblem of the Government of Karnataka, supporting an open book with a backdrop of a tree and its name, place and motto written in Kannada. These are ensconced by a blue border with gold outlines inscribed with its name and motto. The motto in Kannada ‘ಜ್ಞಾನ ಗುಣ ಸಾಗರ’ means ‘Ocean of Knowledge and Virtue’. The book refers to knowledge, learning, education and wisdom; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; the colour green denotes  agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

VIDHYADEEP UNIVERSITY

VIDHYADEEP UNIVERSITY The blue and cyan emblem of Vidhyadeep University (VU) has a facade of an entrance with three pillars holding a mortarboard hat, supporting a set of five stars ensconced by a cyan circular border. These are supported by an open book symbolising knowledge, wisdom, education and learning. The name of the university is written at the bottom using sans serif font. The three pillars of the facade symbolise the bridge to heaven from earth and pillar means strength, security of foundation and trustworthiness; the mortarboard hat or oxford hat educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage symbolises and the set of five stars denote perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The pillars end as an inverted pencil, which symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence.

THE TAMILNADU DR. J JAYALALITHAA MUSIC AND FINE ARTS UNIVERSITY

THE TAMILNADU DR. J JAYALALITHAA MUSIC AND FINE ARTS UNIVERSITY The Tamilnadu Dr. J Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University (TTDJJMFAU) was exclusively to foster, popularise, promote the music and fine arts so as to preserve traditional systems of Indian music, performing arts and fine arts practised in Tamilnadu. The circular logo has a green circular border, which carries the name of the university in Tamil and English. Inside the border on a grey background of gopuram - the emblem of the Government of Tamilnadu, silhouette images of a dancer, painter and a sculptor supported by a violet veena are placed. Below the veena an open and a traditional lamp is kept atop a pedestal which carries the motto of the university in Tamil ‘பயிற்சி பண்படுத்தும்’ meaning ‘Practice Makes Perfect’. The open book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

THE WEST BENGAL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF JURIDICAL SCIENCE

THE WEST BENGAL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF JURIDICAL SCIENCE NUJS was established in 1999 by the Bar Council of India (BCI), with the Government of West Bengal. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS or NUJS) is a National Law University located in Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The emblem of the university is in the form of a shield with black border line which has three horizontal divisions. The top one in red colour hosts an open book, the white middle one hosts the acronym of its name and the bottom blue one hosts a two-pan beam balance weighing scale. The shield signifies protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the open book signifies knowledge and wisdom and the scales are the traditional symbols of justice as wielded by statues of Lady Justice. The colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes trust, character and integrity. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘यु

NATIONAL PEOPLE'S PARTY

NATIONAL PEOPLE'S PARTY In its endeavour to champion the cause of the indigenous people of India, particularly Northeast and to voice the concerns of the ethnic communities, minorities and the voiceless, the National People’s Party (NPP) was founded in January 2013 by Purno Agitok Sangma. Its symbol is a book on the cover of which ‘क”  and ‘A’ are written.

PARUL UNIVERSITY

PARUL UNIVERSITY Parul University, since its inception in 1993 to the point of its recognition as university in the year 2015, has grown into one of India’s leading academic Institutions. The University is an amalgamation of 20 faculties and 36 institutes, with a plethora of diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programs in numerous disciplines. Its emblem is a tricolour - yellow, blue and red shield held by a pair of lions and supported by a banner. The Lotus is symbolic of the purity that comes with the purpose that our students serve to all of humanity after studying in the university. The holding hands signify the element of togetherness, that the journey of education is about the students walk together. The book stands as a symbol of the reflection of knowledge with every page turned, opening new horizons of knowledge. C. V. RAMAN GLOBAL UNIVERSITY

C. V. RAMAN GLOBAL UNIVERSITY C. V. Raman Global University, Odisha was established through the Odisha Act 01 of 2020. CGU, Odisha started as a degree level engineering college named as C.V. Raman College of Engineering (CVRCE) in the year 1997. Its circular emblem in grey, red, black and white is simple, clean and crisp. In the middle of the circle, a shield with a book, pen and a traditional lamp is placed. This is surrounded by a banner with the name of the university. Below the shield, the name of the State is inscribed. At the bottom of the circle in a banner the year of the establishment of the University is written.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SIRMAUR

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SIRMAUR Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur (IIM Sirmaur) is a Centrally Funded Institution of National Importance set up by the Government of India in 2015. It strives to focus on indigenous areas and innovative practices, to develop sensitive corporate leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. IIM Sirmaur recognizes the parameters of knowledge and leadership by reflecting it through its logo which incorporates an open book symbol (to represent knowledge creation and learning) and in between there is a sun symbol to embody the society's or nation's pride in the form of leadership which IIM Sirmaur strives to achieve. The emblem is in the form of a blue colour shield.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ROHTAK

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ROHTAK Indian Institute of Management Rohtak (IIMR) is the IIM established by the Government of India in 2009. The peacock in its emblem represents the exuberance and pride in IIM Rohtak’s vision to be a global leader, while the Sanskrit words which read ‘Management Through Knowledge and Values’ (ज्ञानेन गुणेन च प्रबंधः) signify IIM Rohtak’s mission of knowledge diffusion, social commitment and value system (or corporate governance). Green circle represents the nature and environment that is fundamental to society’s progress and human happiness, whereas the red circle represents the vibrancy of the youth that energises education and sustains the progress of society. The white colour in the logo represents the underlying sense of purpose and the goal of social progress, while the open book signifies knowledge creation and dissemination.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOZHIKODE

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT KOZHIKODE The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) was set up in 1996 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala. Its circular emblem in the form of a gear wheel has a bow and arrow in the top half - symbolising aiming high and reaching the target through effort; a water body with a boat and a few coconut trees - symbolising Kerala and an open book - symbolising knowledge and wisdom, in the bottom half the name of the institute is written around the gear wheel. The motto of the institute ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ meaning (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’.
