GURUGRAM UNIVERSITY The emblem of Gurugram University (GU) has a yellow shield supported by a pair of laurels, crested by a flame and by a red banner below. The shield houses the motifs of rising sun, a pair of twigs,an open book, a globe, a human brain, a banyan tree, robot, WiFi symbol, picture of persons holding a trophy, its name and place and a bow and arrow. On the banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘बिद्या जीवनाये न तु जीविकाय’ meaning ‘Knowledge is for Life and Not for Livelihood’ is written. The lamp and the flame represent human energy; the rising sun denotes enlightenment; the twigs denote medicines; the book denotes new world; the globe represents global collaboration; the brain represents the brainstorming for creativity; the banyan or Bodhi tree is the symbol of Sansara (World) and Dharma; the robot and WiFi denote technological advancement; the trophy and persons denote team effort for success and the bow and arrow denote the historical heritage.

GEETA UNIVERSITY The emblem of Geeta University (GU) has a blue shield on which a monogram of its acronym in white and its name in orange are inscribed. ALongside its name, place and its motto ‘Powering Education, Empowering Minds’ are written in sans serif typeface. The shield represents protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour orange denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

GONDWANA UNIVERSITY The greenish emblem of Gondwana University (GU) has a green shield with a silver border houses the motifs of an archway representing architecture of the place, an open book, a pair of laurels, its name and place in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञाना देव तु कैवल्यम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge Alone Liberates’. Below the shield, on a yellow border the name of the university is write.The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour green denotes agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GANPAT UNIVERSITY The red colour emblem of Ganpat University (GU) has a pictorial of human head supported by an open book, with its name written alongside in sans serif typeface. Below the name its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया समाजोत्कर्षः’ meaning ‘The Upliftment of Society Through Education’ is inscribed. The book symbolises knowledge, education, wisdom and learning through which the human evolves and develops into a complete personality. GANDHINAGAR UNIVERSITY The blue and gold emblem of Gandhinagar University (GU)  has its acronym written as monogram, with ‘U’ treated as a shield holding a phoenix. Below this its name is written in sans serif bold in blue and gold. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the phoenix symbolises renewal, resurrection and rebirth; the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour gold signifies wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.

GUJARAT UNIVERSITY The emblem of Gujarat University (GU) has a dancing peacock and the sculptural architecture resting on two pillars and a lamp suspended from its centre. The dancing peacocks represent Goddess Learning Saraswati. The arch represents Gujarat's heritage; the two pillars symbolise its solid foundation. The lamp is a symbol of learning that dispels the darkness of ignorance and enlightens everything around it. The lightning at the top of the rectangle and the atomic circles below it symbolise the flash of genius and scientific progress. The name and motto of the university are written on a circular border in Devanagari. The motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) means ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’.

GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY  The emblem of Galgotias University is a pictorial inspired from its acronym ‘GU’ and its three guiding qualities of trust, dependability and commitment. The swooshes forming a circle created using red, yellow and blue represent these qualities and in the counter of the pictorial an image of Goddess Saraswati, the God of Learning is placed.
