SHRI SHANKARACHARYA PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY The insignia of Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU) is a yellow shield with very thick blue outlines, which holds a blue circle and a portion of its name in blue. The blue circle holds the motifs of lotus supporting a human head on a base of tripundra, its motto in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’, an open book and the balance portion of its name.
