MEHROTRA CONSUMER PRODUCTS PVT. LTD. Mehrotra Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. is a young and dynamic company aspiring to be a leader in the organic food industry. Since 1969, the parent company, Mehrotra Impex (India), has been a manufacturer and exporter of handicrafts, household, kitchenware and decorative items. In 2012, the company ventured into the organic food Business. It has established its own domestic brand Organic Tattva of everyday grocery. It tests each product for 186 pesticides before the produce heads to the factory for CO2 fumigation and cleaning. It is certified organic by Control Union Certifications, in compliance with United States Standards for Organic NOP, Indian Standards NPOP as well as European Union Standards. Its circular logo in earthy yellow and olive green has a leaf supported by its stem and roots and ensconced by a circular border on which its name is written using sans serif light font. The colours used are sober and projects their nearness

AGRICULTURAL AND PROCESSED FOOD PRODUCTS EXPORT DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Agricultural And Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) was established in 1986 as a Statutory Body under an Act of Parliament. The Authority, with its headquarters at New Delhi, is headed by a chairman. The Authority has five regional offices at Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai and is entrusted with the task of promoting agricultural exports, including the export of processed foods in value added form. During the year 2009-10, APEDA has been empowered by an Act of Parliament to enforce the Intellectual Property Right of Geographical Indications for Basmati Rice. Its green colour logo has and abstract depiction of agricultural products supported on its right side by the Devanagari and English acronym of the organaisation.
