DHIRUBHAI AMBANI INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY The blue and green circular insignia of Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) has a shield with blue and white border, crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels. Banner is placed on the shield, on which its acronym ‘DA-IICT’ is inscribed. All these are ensconced by a blue circular border, which carries the name of the university. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the laurels denote ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication and the colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
