BANK OF INDIA Bank of India (BoI) was founded on September 7, 1906 by a group of eminent businessmen from Mumbai. The bank was under private ownership and control till July 1969 when it was nationalised along with thirteen other banks. The logo of the bank has a blue band and an orange toned five pointed star. The name of the bank is written on the band using sans serif bold capitals and lowercase. The vertical stroke of the star is longer than the other four with its centres forming a pentagon by the shading of the strokes of the star. Another blue pentagon is juxtaposed inside the pentagon, which has a circle in it. The circle holds a standing goddess-like figure holding a trident and a lion seated behind her, with her left hand on the lion’s head. MADHYA PRADESH GRAMIN BANK Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank (MPGB), a Regional Rural Bank, constituted on April 1, 2019 after amalgamation of two Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Narmada Jhaubua Grameen Bank and Central Madhya Pradesh Gramin Bank. The amalgamated bank is under the sponsorship of Bank of India (BoI). Its logo in blue and red colours has two slanted oval shapes with portions of its acronym. The portion of the blue oval forming a crescent holds ‘MP’ and on its right the red oval holds ‘GP’ in white lettering serif italics font. Below these the tagline of the bank in Devanagari ‘आपका अपना बैंक’ meaning ‘Your Own Bank’. Slanted ovals signify movement, action, fluidity, flexibility, innovation, transformation and transition. The colour blue denotes stability, trust, loyalty, integrity, wisdom, intelligence, tranquillity and calmness. Combination of these elements and colours aptly summarises the bank’s brand and gives it an acceptable visual identity.

ARYAVART BANK

ARYAVART BANK Aryavart Bank, a Regional Rural Bank, was constituted on April 1, 2019 after amalgamation of two Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) namely Gramin Bank of Aryavart and Allahabad UP Gramin Bank as per Government of India Gazette notification No. 338 dated January 25, 2019. The amalgamated entity functions under the sponsorship of Bank of India (BoI). The circular emblem of this bank uses green as the predominant colour with the sun depicted in the tones of orange and yellow. The monogram of its acronym ‘AB’ supported by ‘ग्रामीण’ is placed inside a white circle. This circle forms the core of the sun with its vibrant rays in red to yellow on a fresh green background forms the main motif. These are ensconced in a white circular border with green edges. This carries the name of the bank in Devanagari on the upper portion and in English on the lower portion separated on both sides by a laurel.
