ANAND ARTS COLLEGE (AAC) The emblem of Anand Arts College (AAC) features a traditional lamp supported by a pair of laurels and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college in Devanagari and its motto in Sanskrit ‘या विद्या सा ज्योति’ meaning ‘That which is knowledge is light’ and supported by an ornamental lotus pattern. The lamp refers to light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the lotus  denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

AMBAI ARTS COLLEGE (AAC) The emblem of Ambai Arts College (AAC) features a shield housing the motifs of Sage Agasthiar, a river, a hoe and a glowing ‘kuthuvilakku’ (a traditional lamp) supported by a pair of laurels. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college is inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sage refers to the place of the college; the river refers to River Tamirabarani which flows through this place; the hoe refers to agriculture and farming; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

ARMY AVIATION CORPS

ARMY AVIATION CORPS The Army Aviation Corps (AAC) formed on November 1, 1986. The AAC Centre is at Nasik, Maharashtra. Army aviation training which was previously carried out at the School of Artillery at Deolali, is now carried out in an independent Combat Air Training School also at Deolali. Its insignia has a flying eagle above a pair of crossed swords placed in a purple circle and at the bottom is a red banner with its motto in Sanskrit ‘Suveg va Sudrid’ meaning ‘Swift and Sure’.
