SWAMI VIVEKANANDA SUBHARTI UNIVERSITY Swami Vivekananda Subharti University (SVSU) was established by Mahayana Theravada Buddhist Religious and Charitable Trust, Meerut in September 2008. The dark blue circular emblem of the university has a globe supported by an open book and held by a pair of hands on a blue circle surrounded by a circular border bearing its name and year of establishment. This is surrounded by a pair of laurels. At the bottom, on a blue banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘उतिष्ठत जाग्रत् प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत’ meaning ‘Get up Wake up and Listen to the Boons’ is written.
