PUNERI PALTAN Puneri Paltan is a kabaddi team which represents the city of Pune, Maharashtra, India in the Pro Kabaddi League. The teamplays at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex. Puneri Paltan is a founding member of the Pro Kabaddi League. The identity of Puneri Paltan is an ode to Maharashtra’s rich culture. The logo takes inspiration from the Rajmudra - symbol of Swarajya, which represents the glory of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who vowed for the wellbeing of his people. The emblem is a lion representing the royalty of the king of the jungle. The prominence of the Tilak (Chandrakor) is a symbol of blessings bestowed upon warriors and the overarching saffron colour is a way of paying homage to Maharashtra’s heritage. It is a statement that states that Puneri Paltan is here to rule the world of Kabaddi.

PUNE METRO RAIL PROJECT Maha-Metro a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), a 50:50 jointly owned company of Government of India and Government of Maharashtra. The Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRCL) which would be reconstituted into Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-METRO) for implementation of all metro projects including Pune Metro Rail Project Phase-1 in the State of Maharashtra outside Mumbai Metropolitan Region for the smooth implementation, execution and operations. The logo is the identity of Maharashtra Metro and hence Pune Metro Rail have carried that logo and painted it with the city's grandeur.
