WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF TEACHERS, TRAINING, EDUCATION PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION The West Bengal University of Teachers, Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) was established on January 16, 2015. The emblem of the university in blue and cyan has a globe supporting an open book with images of a silhouetted face of human with highlighted brain and map of the State of West Bengal; crested by a mortarboard hat and supported by a pair of laurels. All these are ensconced in a circular border with its name and year of establishment written on it. A broad cyan colour ribbon goes around this emblem bears the motto ‘Excellence in Teacher Education’ of the university.
