NATIONAL INSURANCE ACADEMY The insignia of National Insurance Academy (NIA) is a cyan motif of an open book supporting an abstract layered tree like figure, with its name written in black on the right in three lines. The open book refers to education, learning, wisdom and knowledge and the colour cyan denotes sky, hope and spring, peace, tranquillity, calmness, relaxation and emotional balance.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA National Institute of Ayurveda, Deemed to be University (De novo) is an apex autonomous Institute under the aegis of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. NIA was conferred the Deemed to be University status under De novo category on November 13, 2020 (Ayurveda Day). Its red and blue emblem has a global map of the world with a burning traditional lamp crested by a pedestal with palm leaf scriptures. The motto of the institute in Sanskrit ‘आयुर्वैध्यमक ज्योति शश्वत् नः प्रकाशनम्’ meaning ‘The Light of Medicine is an Eternal Revelation’ is written around the globe. These are ensconced by a border carrying its name in English and Devanagari and its place. The logo is put on a traditional pedestal. The status of the institute in blue ensconced the logo in Devanagari and English.

NATIONAL INVESTIGATION AGENCY The NIA Act was enacted on December 13, 2008 and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) was born. NIA is the Central Counter Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency in India. It has registered and investigated 315 cases and has an enviable record of 90% conviction rate. NIA aims to set the standards of excellence in counter terrorism and other national security related investigations at the national level by developing into a highly trained, partnership oriented workforce. Its emblem has ‘NIA’ placed in the centre of a blue bordered circle. The acronym is supported by a laurel and national emblem atop. At the bottom is the ‘Chakra’ and tricolour ribbon fly on both its sides. The circular border has its name and ‘Government of India’ written in English.
