TRIPURA POLICE Tripura was a one District Territory with one District Magistrate – DM and Collector and also one Superintendent of Police upto August 31,1970. The territory was divided into three districts with appointment of three DM and Collectors from September 1,1970. Accordingly, three Superintendents of Police were appointed and posted to the districts. The emblem of the Tripura Police shows what could be the modern emblem of the State of Tripura.
