NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY The emblem of National Institute of Advanced and Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT), which was known as National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology (NIFFT) till 2021 is circular with the national tricolours and brown. It has the motifs of an open book with pages depicting atomic structure and a plant; a torch with flame; a gear wheel travelling on a circular gear rack; its motto in Sanskrit ‘नूतनं विज्ञान विश्वम्’ meaning ‘New Science of the World’; its acronym and its former acronym. These are ensconced by a tricolour circular border, which is inscribed with the name of the institute in Devanagari and English.
