GODREJ GROUP Established in 1897, the Godrej Group has its roots in India's Independence and Swadeshi movement. Its founder, Ardeshir Godrej, lawyer-turned-serial entrepreneur failed with a few ventures, before he struck gold with a locks business. Today, it globally operates in consumer goods, real estate, appliances, agriculture and many other businesses. Its primary logo is fresh green, cyan and maroon colours with its name written in a script similar to brush stroke. The new logo was designed by Inerbrand of United Kingdom in the year 2008. The logo is learnt to have been similar to the signature of its founder and its newer version is trendy with bright colours giving the required makeover for a century old brand.
