VETTRI VEL COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (VVCE) The emblem of Vettri Vel College of Education (VVCE) features a ‘Vel’, the sacred spear of Lord Muruga being offered flowers by a pair of hands, an open book, and a lotus ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college is written and the name of the college is written on the right in extra bold sans-serif capitals. The ‘Vel’ is the divine spear of Lord Muruga or Shanmuga. According to Shaiva tradition, the goddess Parvati presented the Vel to her son Murugan, as an embodiment of her shakti, in order to vanquish the asura Surapadman. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty.

VIDAYAA VIKAS COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (VVCE) The emblem of Vidayaa Vikas College of Education (VVCE) features a circle housing an image of Goddess Saraswati with an open book and a traditional lamp on the sides ensconced by a green circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The tagline of the college ‘May All the World Be Happy’ is written on a banner placed below the seal. At the bottom the motto of the college ‘End of Education is Perfection in Humanity’ is written on the wall of the supporting platform. Goddess Saraswati embodies the essence of vach (speech), knowledge, and creative expression, symbolising the power to purify the self through the flow of wisdom and art. She represents the pursuit of knowledge and truth, free from the distractions and illusions of the material world. VIDYAVARDHAKA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) was established in 1949 by Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late K. Puttaswamy to impart quality education to all sections of the society. Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) is one of the prestigious engineering colleges in Karnataka. Established in 1997. VVCE is an autonomous institute affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. Its emblem is a gearwheel with sixteen teeth in a dark violet colour encompassing a yellow border and a light green circle. The border carries the name of the college. The light green circle has a magnetic circuit, a manufacturing plant, a satellite, a dish antenna and a transmission tower, a tree, a bridge, a computer and a flask. This covers all the major areas of learning in the college. Its acronym is placed below the emblem.
