MAHARAJA AGRASEN UNIVERSITY The red and blue emblem of Maharaja Agrasen University (MAU) is a monogram of its acronym supported by a red banner carrying its motto and surmounted by its name. The counters of the monogram house a glowing sun and an atomic structure. The motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानविज्ञानाभ्यामं कौशलम्’ means ‘Knowledge and Experience with Science’. The sun symbolises life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the atomic structure denotes science, technology and scientific knowledge; the colour red symbolises passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration and the colour blue denotes serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

MAULANA AZAD UNIVERSITY The circular seal of Maulana Azad University (MAU) has a monogram of its acronym ‘MAU’ written in blue, cyan and red, which is surmounted by a person with a mortarboard hat reading a book and its motto ‘Gain Knowledge Serve Mankind’ and supported by its year of established. These are ensconced by a white border with blue outlines inscribed with its name in Devanagari, Urdu and English and the name of the place. The person reading the book is the learner and the mortarboard hat or oxford hat symbolises her achievement, graduation and expertise; the open book denotes learning, education, knowledge and wisdom.

MAHARISHI ARVIND UNIVERSITY The emblem of Maharishi Arvind University (MAU) has a pictorial of the faces of holding a lotus and surrounded by three curved strokes with its name written below the pictorial in two lines. On the right of this emblem three curved strokes in blue converging at the bottom are placed. The pictorial symbolises human thinking and the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty. The colour blue symbolises serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
