SIKKIM ALPINE UNIVERSITY Sikkim Alpine University’s (SAU) insignia is a shield holding an interesting monogram of its acronym ‘SAU’, with the counter of the ‘S’ holding a red dot denoting a human. This is created with a dark blue and orange colour. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विवेकख्यातिरविप्लवा हानोपायः’ (2.26, Patanjali Yog Sutra) meaning ‘Clear and Distinct Discriminative Knowledge is the Means of Destruction of Ignorance’ is inscribed below the shield. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the human symbolises its beneficiaries and stakeholders, the dark blue colour symbolises knowledge, authority, and reliability, power, mystery and responsibility and the orange colour denotes energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

SAVEETHA AMARAVATI UNIVERSITY Saveetha Amaravati University (SAU) was established at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in 2018. The emblem of the university is in the form of a shield with the ‘Vel, the sacred spear of Lord Murgan in the middle supported by its acronym ‘SAU’ in blue and brown. The shield has a yellow coloured horizontal banner on which ‘Estd. 2017’ is written. Below the shield its motto ‘Enlighten Educate Empower’ is written. The sacred Vel of Lord Murugan denotes victory, removal of obstacles, growth, wealth and prosperity; the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

SPICER ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY Spicer Adventist University (SAU), Pune, is part of the global Seventh-day Adventist System of Education consisting of fifty two universities, hundreds of colleges, seminaries and thousands of schools spread all over the world. SAU established vide Maharashtra Act XIV of 2014, is the second self-financing private university and the first Christian Minority Institution in the State of Maharashtra is located on a sixty acre campus. The emblem of the university consists of an open book - Bible, written around in Latin with ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ meaning ‘Love Conquers All’, which is ensconced by a wavy blue border which carries its name and country divided by a pair of stars. SRI AUROBINDO UNIVERSITY Inspired by the ideals of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, Sri Aurobindo University (SAU) is promoted by Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) Society and Bhandari Group of Hospitals and Institutions (BGHI). Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) Society was started Dr. Vinod Bhandari & his wife Dr. Manjushree Bhandari in 2003. The emblem of the university is a revolving globe with longitude and latitudinal line on a cyan coloured square with a white swoosh. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness. The emblem depicts the globe in a dynamic state, which constantly evolves and revolves in a vibrant manner. Cyan is a relaxing and inspiring colour that evokes images of crystal waters and is normally associated with liveliness, tranquillity, youth and energy. SOUTH ASIAN UNIVERSITY South Asian University (SAU) is an international university established by the eight member nations of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. SAU started its operations from the academic year 2010. The logo of SAU is a motif generated by the interaction of two ‘8’s and four octagons placed in a blue rectangular background, symbolising the eight participating nations of SAARC.
