THE PHOENIX MILLS LIMITED The Phoenix Mills Limited commenced operations as a textile manufacturing company on 17.3 acres land at Lower Parel in Mumbai with the objective of manufacturing cotton textile goods in 1905. Currently it operates in the domains of Retail - own, develop and manage retail assets; Residential - develop and sell residential assets; Commercial - develop, own and lease commercial assets and Hospitality - own and develop hospitality assets. Its emblem is a phoenix bird in brown colour. A mythical bird that never dies, the phoenix flies far away ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant space. It represents the capacity for vision, for collecting sensory information about environment and about the events unfolding within it.
